Life-saving rules
Under the motto “We do it safely or we don’t do it at all”, CurTec wants to create a safe working environment for all employees. A prerequisite for this is that everyone has a safety mindset. To help people develop such a mentality (further), we have drawn up life-saving rules.
Safety is a top priority for CurTec. To make everyone aware of this, we have launched eight simple life-saving rules:
- Wear the requires personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Never remove or bypass safety features
- Lock out machines during maintenance and breakdowns (LOTOTO)
- Only perform tasks for which you are authorized
- Make eye contact and always drive backwards with a load
- Keep your workplace tidy (5S)
- Respect the rules for safe lifting
- STOP if there are any deviations
All new employees are shown these life-saving rules on their first day at work. Every year, CurTec organizes mandatory training sessions in which life-saving rules are brought to the attention one by one. And wherever you walk in a production environment, the life-saving rules are always hanging somewhere nearby!
