This means
- Calculating our corporate carbon footprint: the total amount of greenhouse gases that are directly and indirectly the result of our business activities
- Setting a science-based target (SBT) for CurTec's scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Understanding the environmental impact of our products by conducting an LCA and creating transparency by offering carbon footprint data to our clients
- Establishing a net-zero strategy in which we determine how, in collaboration with our suppliers, partners and customers, we want to address our carbon hotspots and achieve our SBT’s
- Lowering our natural gas consumption and CO2 usage
- Increasing the energy efficiency of our production activities
- Generating renewable energy on-site
- Avoiding accidental loss of plastic granules
- Achieving and maintaining the highest possible EcoVadis sustainability rating
