There are many management systems that help ensure the quality and reliability of a product, but only one provides the ultimate level of assurance. By implementing it, CurTec has reached another milestone.
GMP is a system that ensures that products are produced in a consistent and controlled manner and checked in accordance with quality standards. It is designed to minimize risks in a pharmaceutical manufacturing process that cannot be eliminated by product testing.
GMP touches all aspects of a production process: from materials, buildings and equipment to the training and personal hygiene of personnel. Detailed procedures are essential for any process that can affect the quality of the final product. Systems must be in place to provide evidence that correct procedures have been followed precisely at every step of the manufacturing process – every time a product has been made.
CurTec has put a lot of energy into implementing GMP in recent years. In 2016, the production location in Rijen was audited and certified according to the ISO 15378:2017 standard. More recently (in May 2023), the new US production site in Westminster has also been audited and certified.
Achieving the status of GMP-certified packaging manufacturer is an absolute milestone in the history of CurTec and a compliment to all employees who maintain and further develop the quality management systems.
