Business travel and commuting are part of CurTec's scope 3. CurTec aims to reduce its scope 3 emissions by 90% compared to 2021. That is why it renewed its mobility policy this summer and aligned it with this ambition.
In order to stimulate sustainable commuting and business travel among employees, CurTec's mobility policy has been renewed and expanded. Employees now have a choice of various options that support sustainable commuting and business travel:
Employees whose presence at the workplace is not a prerequisite for carrying out their work can work from home a few days a week. This can create a better work-life balance, save on travel time and reduce the burden on the environment.
When an employee comes to CurTec by public transport, that person can apply for a Business Train Card for the journey from home to work. Business trips made with the Business Train Card are also reimbursed.
At CurTec, it is possible to lease a bicycle for commuting as well as for private use.
CurTec has an electric car available that employees can use for business trips.
With the renewed mobility policy, we are all taking a step together towards a more sustainable CurTec.
