Lid Locker is CurTec’s range of closing aids for drums, Click Pack pails and Packo jars. Depending on the packaging and the way it is handled, a Lid Locker consists of a wrench, a retainer plate, or both.
A wrench provides additional grip and leverage, while a retainer plate keeps the packaging firmly in position. Together or separately, these tools help operators carry out the prescribed opening and closing method with greater control and less physical effort.

The wrench provides additional leverage and a comfortable grip for turning the lid. When more stability is needed, the retainer plate holds the drum in position while the lid is opened or closed. Depending on the situation, the wrench and retainer plate can be used separately or together.

Click Pack pails
Click Pack uses a simple quarter-turn closure, but repetitive opening and closing can still benefit from additional stability. A Lid Locker retainer plate keeps the pail firmly in position while the operator turns the lid manually.

When Packo jars are opened and closed repeatedly, good grip and hand comfort become increasingly important. The Lid Locker wrench provides a larger, ergonomic grip and additional leverage for turning the lid.
