CurTec believes it is important to give back to society. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company sets aside an annual budget for social sponsorship. Employees can nominate good causes, and a special committee decides which projects will receive sponsorship funding.

Food Bank Gilze-Rijen

Awarded sponsorship amount €5,000

In the municipality of Gilze and Rijen, more than one hundred families depend on food assistance. For these families, this support is essential. They can visit the Food Bank every week. The organization and distribution of the food packages are carried out entirely by volunteers.

In addition to the Food Bank in Gilze-Rijen, the following good causes have been selected for 2026:

The Sunflower – Tilburg Driehoek Zuid Chapter

Awarded sponsorship amount: €3,000

The Sunflower supports people with physical disabilities, especially those at risk of becoming socially isolated. The Tilburg Driehoek Zuid chapter organizes social and recreational activities that make connection and enjoyment possible. Nominated by Erdogan Özer, CurTec supports this chapter so that guests can take part in an enjoyable day trip by bus.

Ambrosius Bavel Beekeepers Association

Awarded sponsorship amount: €2,500

Ambrosius Bavel Beekeepers Association is committed to protecting bees and increasing knowledge about bees and beekeeping in and around Bavel. Through activities in the bee garden, the association raises awareness of the importance of bees to the ecosystem. Nominated by Bob Roovers, CurTec supports Ambrosius in purchasing equipment and training needed to effectively combat the Asian hornet, which threatens native bees and insects.

Make-A-Wish Netherlands

Awarded sponsorship amount: €2,000

Make-A-Wish Netherlands fulfills the most cherished wishes of children aged 3 to 18 with serious, sometimes even life-threatening illnesses. In doing so, the foundation gives children and their families resilience, confidence, and unforgettable moments with a lasting positive impact. Nominated by Ton Oomen, CurTec supports Make-A-Wish so that even more children can experience the power of a wish.

The Sunflower – Rijen-Molenschot Chapter

Awarded sponsorship amount: €1,500

The Sunflower supports people with physical disabilities, especially those at risk of becoming socially isolated. Together with 85 volunteers, the Rijen-Molenschot chapter organizes a wide range of social and recreational activities for more than 200 guests. Nominated by Cees Snoeren, CurTec supports this chapter so that the personal contribution for participants can be kept as low as possible.

Cycling Buddies Oosterhout

Awarded sponsorship amount: €500

Cycling Buddies Oosterhout makes bike rides possible for people who, for whatever reason, cannot cycle independently. Together with a volunteer buddy, guests enjoy rides on an electric tandem-style bike, with movement, being outdoors, and social contact at the heart of the experience. Nominated by Maarten de Bont, CurTec supports Cycling Buddies Oosterhout so these valuable rides can continue.

Dongen Youth Council

Awarded sponsorship amount: €500

Dongen Youth Council organizes the annual Summer Games: five days full of play, adventure, and connection for more than 1,400 children aged 4 to 13. Each year, the children experience a new theme with matching sets, characters, and an exciting story. Nominated by Joeri Arnouts, CurTec supports the Summer Games in purchasing materials for new sets.
