Color customization made accessible

Colors are a powerful design element in packaging and play an important role in influencing (consumer) behavior. CurTec regularly receives requests for color-customized packaging solutions. To make customization more accessible to a wider audience, we have lowered the minimum order quantities (MOQs) for colored drum lids.
Available standard colors
The following colors are available to customize CurTec products, provided the applicable MOQ is met:

Lower MOQs for colored drum lids
To offer greater flexibility in customization, CurTec has reduced the MOQs for colored drum lids as follows:
- 2.9–26 liter drums: 1,500 pieces
- 30–75 liter drums: 1,000 pieces
- 90–115 liter drums: 500 pieces
These MOQs apply to the standard colors listed in the chart above. The standard production lead time is six weeks. Final order quantities are rounded up to the equivalent of a full pallet of drums.
Food safety
As of January 1, 2016, CurTec complies with EU Regulation (EC) No. 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended for food contact, including all applicable amendments. CurTec has adapted the composition of several colorants to ensure compliance with the current food contact legislation. Products manufactured using these materials meet all relevant technical and quality requirements.
Customization beyond drum lids
Color customization of other CurTec products in standard and other colors is possible but requires additional testing. As a result, lead times are longer and MOQs vary depending on product type and size. Our Inside Sales team can advise you on feasibility and applicable delivery conditions.
