    The international dangerous goods regulation makes extensive conditions for the transport of spent lithium batteries. This battery type can normally be found in every used battery mix and since they are considered dangerous waste, the total mix is subject to dangerous goods regulations.

    These regulations require that no pressure can build up in the shipping container. The moving space of batteries should also be limited during transport. The content cannot connect with conductive materials. And last but not least, the container should be approved according to UN regulation.

    CurTec drums bear the appropriate UN marking and meet all packaging requirements made by the UN. You don not need to worry about legal obligations when using our drums.
